Sam has travel in her blood, as her family have owned and run an Essex-based independent travel agency for many years.
Her own career spans more than 10 years, starting with First Choice Holiday Hypermarket in November 1999 as a worldwide travel consultant.
Sam progresses to Head of Department in various hypermarkets, before becoming a shop manager at Lakeside in 2004, where she won the accolade of Manager of the Year for the company. In December 2005 she became a Regional Sales Manager for First Choice Retail, and added Region of the Year for the company to her awards in 2008.
Sam then became Head of Sales for Crystal, revitalising the business’s relationships with the travel trade and with TUI Travel’s 900 or so high street shops, and managing a 70-strong Sales Centre team in the Kingston HQ.
Following the merger of Crystal with TUI Travel’s Specialist business, Sam is now Sales Director for Specialist Holidays Group, the UK’s 3rd largest tour operator.
Away from work, Sam dotes on her two boys and although she claims to be something of a technophobe, she can always be found uploading photos of them to Facebook.
