Come and join the team
We know our success is driven by our exceptional people. We’re always on the look out for great people to join us in our locations across the globe who have bundles of enthusiasm and a passion for holidays and whether on the front line or behind the scenes, understand the importance of delivering fabulous customer experiences.
Specialist Holidays Group is no ordinary holiday company. We are a truly global collection of niche businesses, proud to be part of TUI Group, the world’s largest travel company. We operate out of 23 source markets, selling around 750,000 holidays a year. We have nearly 4,000 colleagues and our main headquarters are based in Crawley and Surbiton in the UK. We also have offices in Dublin in Ireland, Aarhus in Denmark, Clearwater in Florida and Castelnaudary in France. Being part of TUI Group means opportunities across the globe are endless.
We believe in being a truly customer and colleague centric business. Our offices, sailing & boating bases and resorts are focussed and results driven, but lots of fun. Full of like minded people who want to share knowledge and spread enthusiasm and enjoy time together. While each business is independently managed, it’s our unique Spreading Smiles culture which unites us.
Life at Specialist Holidays Group
Below you’ll find stories about the events, projects and people that make working here so rewarding and enjoyable.
In March 2015, as project sponsors, Hayes and Jarvis travelled out to Kenya, to Miangeni Secondary School in a small community in the Makueni County, located just outside the Tsavo National Park. The visit followed the recent completion of the building of a rainwater harvesting tank at the school. This was a rare privilege for […]
Last Wednesday our colleagues in the Dutch Office enjoyed a belated but nice Christmas / New Year party. They decided to do something active and fun, so they took a CURLING Course! They said it was great fun, but also really difficult. They wont be sending a curling-team to the next winter Olympics from Holland!
Travel Designer Mike tells us about his third trip to Queensland, Australia where he explored the diverse countryside, tried his hand at stand up paddle boarding and saw dolphins in the wild. It was my second time landing in Auckland. My first was five years ago while backpacking with friends through Australasia. I fell head over […]
Why do we love working here
Working for SHG I have been lucky enough to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, dive on the Great Barrier Reef, dine with Ayres Rock as a back drop, hike up a glacier in New Zealand and stay on a paradise Island in Fiji. Working within a team where everyone is so passionate about their roles […]
Working at SHG allows me to not only role the world, but help others to experience it too. Creating video content for four travel companies is a tall order, but we have a great team who collaborate and share their skills and ideas making it a fantastic place to work.
Every day at SHG brings something new and exciting; we have hackathons where we innovate and collaborate, work on small projects where we optimise our current content and shape the future working on projects to build completely new websites. We also get to spend a day a month learning new skills!
