Who are we?
The Specialist Holidays Group was established in 2010, when several businesses within TUI Group, the world’s leading leisure travel group, were brought together under one management team. Each business is independently managed and has its own strategy and a core team focused on delivering fabulous customer experiences.

What is it like to work here?
Working for SHG I have been lucky enough to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, dive on the Great Barrier Reef, dine with Ayres Rock as a back drop, hike up a glacier in New Zealand and stay on a paradise Island in Fiji. Working within a team where everyone is so passionate about their roles makes it a great working environment.
Working at SHG allows me to not only role the world, but help others to experience it too. Creating video content for four travel companies is a tall order, but we have a great team who collaborate and share their skills and ideas making it a fantastic place to work.
Every day at SHG brings something new and exciting; we have hackathons where we innovate and collaborate, work on small projects where we optimise our current content and shape the future working on projects to build completely new websites. We also get to spend a day a month learning new skills!
Much more than just a place to work

The visit followed the recent completion of the building of a rainwater harvesting tank at the school. This was a rare privilege for […]
Last Wednesday our colleagues in the Dutch Office enjoyed a belated but nice Christmas / New Year party. They decided to do something active and fun, so they took a CURLING Course! They said it was great fun, but also really difficult. They wont be sending a curling-team to the next winter Olympics from Holland!

As you arrive in the Gold Coast you’re met by an irresistibly laid back atmosphere. It’s this atmosphere along with the huge array […]
Destination Executive Laura tells us about her trip to the picturesque country of New Zealand where she spotted whales in the wild and took a leap off the Auckland Sky Tower. It was my second time landing in Auckland. My first was five years ago while backpacking with friends through Australasia. I fell head over […]
14th-18th December 2015 Paris For the short time we were in Paris we took a long stroll from the Arc Du Triumph which is located 5 minutes away from the Prince De Galles hotel to the Eiffel tower and along the river back to the Washington Opera hotel where we stayed. A great time to see […]
Back in 2015 we held a Tailor Made Digital Hackathon. We stopped working on our usual projects for a few days, formed mini project teams and got to work on creating shippable products in a short time. Lots of great ideas came out over the 3 days including some that have gone on to be launched […]
